John F. Schrurs - Operations and business development

Graduated in ‘85 from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL - Belgium) with a BSc and a MSc degree in mechanical engineering,  he acquired industrial process experience with Exxon, while obtaining an MBA (KULeuven -  Belgium) in ’87.


From 89 to 91, John fine-tuned his 6-sigma competencies at Bekaert and his market development skills with Royal Dutch Shell.


For the next 10 years, he held various positions with The Coca-Cola Company and bottlers, in Europe and abroad. These roles covered process excellence, operations support, product innovation, global technology development and multiple-country technical leadership.

In 2000, Amcor offered him a European manufacturing leadership role for its flexible packaging division. In 2003, the Inbev group (now Anheuser Busch Inbev) asked him to lead the worldwide packaging and sales equipment innovation strategy.

In 2005, he founded Cape Decision to offer his experience to a wider range of clients.


Jean is member of different boards and certified by Guberna, the Belgian Insitute of Directors.

Evaluator  of EU Funded innovation Projects


Innovation expert Jean is a proposal evaluator for EC Horizon 2020 Programme. This is the biggest EU research and innovation initiative with 3O billion EUR funding for 2014-2020.

Dominique got her first journalism degree at the University of Georgia (Athens -  US) in 1983.   


She then obtained her masters degree in political sciences and communication in 1988 at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL -  Belgium).


For the next 8 years, she has been a journalist and producer with CNN (Atlanta), the BBC World Service (London), the European Commission (Brussels) and teaching in International Schools.


She has organized successful executive events and  managed Europaid communication projects.   She also joined the EBRD team of communication experts.


Dominique is in charge of communications projects and market research.
